Personal Statement

“The work of school counselors is invaluable in guiding young adults toward their future. Pointing students and parents toward much needed information and resources helps create excitement about the possibilities and opportunities awaiting them, while calming their fears about the unknown. As a veteran school counselor, I sometimes have to be reminded of my influence on my students. I realize that my fellow school counselors and I DO make a big difference in preparing for life beyond high school when students and parents say "Thank you! We couldn't have done it without your help!”
